Working with Neutral Local Color

When the actual colors of your landscape subject are neutral hues, such as brown, tan, grey or white, it can be challenging to create a lively color palette. In this instance, basing your color decisions on principles other than what you know to be true about the actual color can open up a much more exciting array of color choices.

This lesson will show and explain in pastel how to choose a more dynamic color palette for a landscape subject that has primarily neutral colors.

This lesson is provided as a downloadable PDF with a lesson written by Barbara Jaenicke.
